We chose it because: it makes available to the young a place where living becomes social innovation, focusing on relationships.

Porto 15 project – one of the first public Italian cohousing – has recovered 18 lodgings, (about 45 beds) inside a building owned by ASP – Città di Bologna right in the city center, adjoining the cultural district called Manifattura delle Arti (which also hosts the Museum of Modern Arts – MAMbo and the Cineteca); its goal is to experiment a new way of co-living for young people under 35 years of age.

The property renovation started in September 2015 and at the same time a process of self-assessment and training of recipients began by defining the project mission vision and the values that govern space and time management and common activities.

Shared services and spaces are spread in each floor: living room/kitchen, laundry, free-time and so on.

The current tenants organize events and initiatives on sustainability and social responsibility on a recurring basis.

We stand out for
